Are you pregnant? Do you want to meet other women who are having their babies at the same time as you for play dates and friendship?
Those first few months with a new-born can feel so much lighter if you have people to share it with. Partners can be a wonderful source of support but sometimes we need to talk to someone who is going through it in the same way we are.
Other people with babies the same age, in the same boat, who understand exactly what you’re going through. They’re up at 3am feeding and rocking and shushing too and they can be at the other end of a phone to say ‘I’M EXHAUSTED WHY WON’T THEY JUST GO TO SLEEEEP’.
Ladies, being pregnant can be overwhelming and thinking about coming out at the other end with a new-born baby to look after can feel so scary.
How do I find my village?
You meet them at ‘The Orca’s: Pregnant Mums Group’ here at Tiddlers.
We’ll have four weekly sessions for you to meet other pregnant mums in the area and share your fears and excitement about becoming a mum.
The sessions will begin 2 months before your due date month to have fun and be a safe space to talk to other mums about anything! We will also have a breast feeding expert coming in for a little Q&A session about feeding (including bottle feeding) and a Speech and Language Therapist to discuss early communication with your baby.
We won’t be focusing on the medical aspects of your pregnancy or birth, our aim is to give you expecting mums the space and time to air out your thoughts and feelings and, most importantly, to make friends!
What’s included?
The Orca’s is £150* and includes:
- 4 fun sessions of 2 hours with a maximum group of 8 expectant mums.
- Q&A Sessions with a Breastfeeding Expert and a Speech and Language Therapist.
- A guided relaxation to end our first session with a hypnobirthing teacher.
- The first 3 sessions include a luxe crafty activity to do while we chat including milestone card making.
- Unlimited drinks and either a Toasted Wrap, Sandwich or Jacky P at each session
- A group baby shower during the final session with party games, decorations and a self care goody bag for each mum (We encourage partners to come along to this one!)
- 20% discount on a party booking if you choose to have their first birthday party here at Tiddlers. Worth up to £80 depending on the package you choose.
